BRIEF HISTORICAL REPORT
In 1950 was laid the foundation for HYDROSTROY as State Economic Association “HYDROSTROY” Sofia. It was a major specialized association for execution of new hydropower, land reclamation and hydrotechnical construction in Bulgaria, with subdivisions in the many towns in Bulgaria.
In 1991 this subdivisions was reorganized as a independent commercial limited liability companies, which are now private companies.
In the 1993 this private companies founded Joint Stock Company “HYDROSTROY” JSC. Main shareholders in HYDROSTROY JSC are privatized hydraulic engineering companies, formerly incorporated in HYDROSTROY State Economic Corporation, as well as natural persons working in the system.
